On the lookout

National Coastwatch Institution (NCI), were looking to increase awareness and raise funds for their life-saving, often unsung, first response service. They had never been on TV before so were naturally cautious and, as a registered charity, budgets were understandably modest.

Hotwolf supported them every step of the way, putting together a one-day shoot on location at one of their lookout towers, using drone photography to capture the setting (and hopefully inspire new volunteers – a secondary goal of the campaign), with a smart script recorded by their patron – and Team GB Olympic legend – Dame Katherine Grainger.

With supporting 15″ and 6″ cutdowns for use on social media and paid digital, plus a suite of social assets for organic reach, we were able to set the NCI out to sea with a fair wind behind them (with all proper safety measures in place, of course).

But don’t just take our word for it…

“We were recommended HOTWOLF by everyone we spoke to and I am glad we took this advice! The work they produced is stunning and they were able to get more of our message into the video than I thought was possible. The finished video was worth every penny and, during the two-week campaign at the end of 2022, it was seen by an estimated 4 million households in England and Wales - exceeding our expectations. It was an absolute pleasure to work with the team at HOTWOLF; totally professional, friendly and took the time to explain things to a layman like myself. I am looking forward to working with them again in the New Year.”
