esure | Case Study: Social

Like many brands before them, esure recognised that their social channels weren’t pulling their weight. Working with us since April 2020, calling upon our experience and expertise to help create a professional, informative and inspirational set of social channels, we’ve helped them to revitalise their Facebook page, creating great-looking and informative content for their followers which matches the professional image of their brand.

Objectives

Quite simply, esure wanted a total reset of their Facebook page. A clear strategy, purpose and set of goals, complimented by content that people would actually want to engage with or would find useful; posts which are either informative or inspiring. Needless to say, it also all had to look great, represent the quality of their brand, and which they could be proud to share with friends and family as well as existing and potential customers.

Deliverables

Far more than just dry insurance info, we created a rich mix of content to help esure engage their audience – meaning that when it IS time to get serious, they have a community to talk to.

We created a wide range of thumb-stopping, engaging assets – from simple memes and GIFs to blog-links, cinemagraphs and animated videos – covering both product and carefully selected lifestyle topics, helping to build esure’s community online.

In the 6 months before working with Hotwolf, esure’s Facebook channel got a little over 1,000 likes, comments and shares in total. In our first 5 months together, we helped them deliver just shy of 20,000 engagements – raising their engagement rate from 0.66% to 1.68%. A truly fantastic result, far in excess of anything we could have hoped for.
