AZAR YOU READY...?
Fast-growing, global social app Azar instantly connects millions of users around the world through video. They initially approached Hotwolf looking for a strong creative agency to drive their launch in the UK, but soon entrusted us to lift their content across the board, connecting with different, global audiences through social content, photography, explainers and product videos and a high-end TVC; all translated and localised for different international markets.
Azar wanted to take advantage of our full nose-to-tail service – from social strategy to full production and channel management, to super-power their UK Instagram page and give them a flying start. Working across time zones, our creative team worked closely with Azar to ensure consistent messaging and branding, creating thumb-stopping, fresh and professional visuals. We created a broad range of assets from bespoke images, stories and videos, to competitions and animated app-feature posts (translated into multiple languages), as well as thumb-stopping creative and strategic planning to help boost internal campaigns and influencer activity.
STORY, NOT STOCK
We produced a photoshoot featuring 18 models to create original, on-brand and unique images for social and marketing materials, to be used in 3 distinct regions (Europe, MENA, Turkey) – keeping cultural sensitivities in mind, but pushing brand personality and fun; steering clear of the usual stock photography stereotypes.
Following on from our video work on social, Azar commissioned us to create a high-end TV and social spot for use across Europe over the festive period, aiming for more of an emotional connection with audiences. Whilst lockdowns were easing by this point, we knew that people can still fight against loneliness around Christmas and the holidays can be a difficult time for some. With Azar, connection and excitement are just a fingertip away and can lead to a magical experience, full of unexpected adventures and experiences that will warm your heart…
Using cinematic lenses and lighting, as well as practical and digital effects to create the ‘Azar moment’, we created 38 video edits (covering 3 different languages), for TV, VOD and online, as well as a suite of display banners and related campaign social assets.

Over just 3.5 months, we produced 400+ creative assets for multiple territories and markets, and our social content on Instagram led to an impressive engagement rate of 18.2% (against an industry average of 0.98% at the time).
